Rendering in Plymouth
Trusted rendering company in Plymouth, Devon & Cornwall
With over 15 years’ experience, DS Plastering & Decorating provide a range of durable external rendering services to homeowners throughout Plymouth and the surrounding areas, ranging from individual render repairs and garden walls through to complete house rendering.
External rendering options for your home
We offer several different rendering systems depending on the type of property, the existing surface, the finish required, and your budget. These include:
Traditional sand & cement rendering
GP (General Purpose) render systems
Monocouche (single layer) render
K Rend coloured render systems
Modern silicone render systems
We’ll explain the advantages of each option and recommend the most suitable system for your home.
Some traditional and GP render finishes require painting once they have cured. As we also provide exterior decorating, we can complete the entire job, including preparation and painting, using suitable exterior masonry paint. Alternatively, we can supply a coloured rendering system that doesn’t require painting.
A complete rendering service in Plymouth
Our team has the knowledge, experience & tools to carry out domestic and commercial rendering work from beginning to end, so you won’t have to manage multiple contractors.
Whether you need to remove loose, cracked or failed render, prepare the existing surface, fit new beads, apply mesh reinforcement where required, or build up the correct base and finishing coats, you can count on us.
We also carry out full hack-off and re-rendering work, or render over an existing surface where it’s sound and suitable. Smaller render repairs, crack repairs, chimney rendering, boundary walls, extensions, and work on damaged areas around windows & doors are also covered.
Plastering, drylining, and interior decorating are also available, if you’re renovating inside your home.
